Of Understanding Sun the King

Without limbs or eyes, you can live but not without heart that belongs to sun.  The heart of the organisation is the boss,  the head, the owner who is sun. The  loss of King is a great loss to the country just as weak sun in Chart is indicating lack of energy and majestic personality.   Sun represents these superior personalities. Unless sun rules and favors you, you can't attain these position and nor can you get government job that is also governed by Sun.

Sun is the soul of all predictons by westerners whereas Indians stick to moon for the same, including calculation of dasa bhukti because mind and the thoughts in the mind forms your character and become basis for all your actions and events in your life.  Sun and Moon are strikingly  complimentary to each other. Sun is father and Moon is mother who weds and cools father's heat.  Sun is the soul and Moon is the mind that reflects the progress of the soul.   Sun is fire and Moon is water that can control that fire. In the world,  power and love are the two greatest forces and Sun represents the power whereas Moon stands for motherly love and kindness.  Power may destroy or protect but kindness will only save.  If Sun is heart,  Moon is blood for whose circulation heart exists.  Fourth sign, water sign Cancer(Kadagam) is ruled by Moon which, being 12th sign, is opposite to the Fifth sign,  Leo(Simah), fire sign that is ruled by Sun. Though opposite to each other,  each has what the other totally lacks.

Astrology is not unscientific.  In astrology, Sun moves from first sign Aries(Mesha) to Last sign Pisces(Meenam) taking one month to pass each sign, thus one year in total. But in real life, in scientific point of view,  Sun is in the Centre of the Solar System,  doesn't move as does in Chart,  doesn't join with any planet(s). Why? The difference is just that of two different view points: The Centre of the chart is the earth and how the sky and the planetary movements in the sky appear to us from earth is the chart and the planetary movements in the chart. The birth chart is nothing but the photo of the sky taken at the time of your birth.  Sun never rises in the east and never sets in the west if you watch the Solar System as a whole from the space.

There is a major difference between Sun and Mars though both refer to power and fire.  Sun refers to constructive energy whereas Mars, the God of war stands for destructive energy.  The fire you use for cooking and for producing electricity is Sun but the fire that burns a house,  human beings and  forest is Mars. Mars,  representing brother can't be superior to Sun the father just as the Military general is to the King. Just as the brothers bring issues to the father for settlements, Mars causes accidents and wounds which are cured by the doctor Sun.

Why is Saturn, the son of Sun enemy to Sun? The difference between Sun and Saturn is the difference between a King and a beggar. Sun rules a person and gives him, health, government job,  political political power,  wealth and respect but Saturn catches one to torture with disease,  loss of job,  poverty and all thorns of life.  Are they not having opposite qualities?  Why can't they be called as enemies?  What Sun gives that Saturn takes away.  Even in the chart, they are in opposite houses,  Leo, the Sun's sign is opposite to Capricorn(Maharam) and Aquarius (Kumba), the Saturn's signs.  Sun is exalted (Aries) where Saturn is debilitated(Libra) and vice versa. Why is sun called as father and Saturn as his son?  Son denotes health and saturn denotes disease. But the health that is recovered after sickness means more.  Sun gives you power and thereby all joys.  Saturn gives you poverty and thereby all pains.  But the joy that comes after suffering matters more.  Sun represents light but Saturn darkness.  But without the arrival of darkness,  the value of light cannot be realised deeply. Not only Saturn but all planets are sons of Sun in the scientific sense that all planets emerged from the fragments of busting Sun.

Why Surya namaskar?  Sun is connected with eyes and causes eye sight problems if weakened in chart. Surya namaskar is a combination of 12 asanas intended to strengthen your body and health that is represented by Sun. Each aasana activates a chakra and maintains your health (with twelve aasanas) while Sun in all twelve signs whether debilitated (neesa) or exalted (ucha). If chappathi made of wheat is not good for heart,  why is Sun going to be associated with wheat and heart both need heat from the Sun?

My professor used to say,  look at planets as men and men as planets.  It helps to go further : Look at all places,  objects and events in the form of (combination of) planets and vice versa. The incidents in your life, the objects you use,  the luxuries you enjoy,  the profession you have,  without seeing the chart you can say, reveal  the planetary combinations and the running Dasa bhukthi, in total what is destined for you in your chart.
