Why does vimshoddhari dasa system follow a particular order of the planets and years allotted to each planets(ketu-7years, venus-20, Sun-6, Moon-10, mars-7, rahu-18, Jupiter-16, Saturn-19 and mercury-17)?
Imagine a man of ancient time who may live up to 120years as perceived by sages. Ketu represents a saintly life. From birth to seven years, a child lives as sinless and delightful as a sage. It has no responsibilities as the renounced one. Next 20 years of the child (8 to 27) is best remembered for sensual pleasures, youth, love, romance, marriage and sex which are represented by Venus. From 28th to 33 (sun-6years), man becomes father and fatherly responsibilities control him on the one side and his lust for more power and wives on the other side. He understands the need for power at this period. The impulse to rule and dominate others, being a king or head of a group arises here. These are represented by Sun.
